Weekend Concert Calendar, 11/20/08

Here it is, your moment of Zen Weekend Concert Calendar!

A preliminary note that the BIG ONE this weekend, in my opinion, is the Boston Cecilia's performance of Bach's Mass in B minor. I will be posting an interview with the conductor, Donald Teeters, sometime in the early part of the weekend, so keep your eyes peeled!

Friday:

At 7:30 pm, Sine Nomine will present "A Pilgrim's Solace" - music from the 16th and early 17th centuries including music by Dowland, Bennet, Bartlet, Gibbons, and King Henry VIII. At St. Mary's Cathedral, 327 Second Street, Fall River, MA.

At 8:00 pm, vocal ensemble Tapestry will present "Faces of a Woman" - music by, about and for women. At the Congregational Church of Weston, 130 Newton St., Weston, MA.

At 8:00 pm, Tuvan group Huun Huur Tu will be at the Somerville Theatre, 55 Davis Sq., Somerville, MA.
