I don't know how I missed this - it's over a month old - but Harry Christophers has been appointed the artistic director of Handel & Haydn! Harry Christophers is the director of one of my all-time favorite choruses, The Sixteen, so this is pretty exciting! Weirdly,I can't find anything about it in a cursory search of H&H's website, but surely Gramophone wouldn't lie.
