My parents took a trip to Florida and while there my father took this picture of a kitty with extra toes (a polydactyl kitty.) It's worth zooming in to really get a good look at the toes.

Last year I kittysat for a gorgeous black-and-white fella who not only has extra toes, but has them in a configuration that makes it appear he has opposable thumbs. Be afraid. Be very afraid.
