Ah, the last big performance weekend of the year!
I would like to highlight the fact that Cappella Clausura, one of my groups (although I'm not singing with them this year due to scheduling difficulties) is coming to my church, First Parish Cohasset, for a big huge concert at 4 pm on Sunday. Did I miss anything? Leave it in the comments!
I know there are a few Lessons and Carols happening this weekend too (like, ahem, the three Candelight Carols performances at Trinity - and no, I'm not singing for those, but they'll be lovely), but are those too church-service-ish to get listed?
ReplyDelete@ Abby:
ReplyDeleteHi! Yes, I have some rather arbitrary guidelines about the calendar to keep me from going crazy. One of those is that I don't list religious services of any kind (saves me from writing up everything that happens at Emmanuel, among other things.) The one time I feel kind of bad about this is at this time of year w/ Lessons and Carols, but the list gets so long in December anyways that I decided to keep leaving them out.
I think I am going to post up my internal guidelines at the beginning of next year so people know what they are. And then I can also encourage people to leave comments about the types of things I don't have energy to list myself.
