Fuma Sacra concert

For anyone in the Delaware or New York City area, there is going to be a fabulous concert this weekend near you. Fuma Sacra, a professional early-music ensemble led by Dr. Megill, will be performing a Handel concert this weekend, and I strongly urge you to check it out! I heard their Christmas concert, and it was one of the most excellent concerts I've ever been to.

Works performed will include Handel's Dixit Dominus (quite a pyrotechnic work) and "Choice of Hercules."

  1. AAAAAHHHHH!!! Handel's "Dixit Dominus" is one of my best EVER choral memories. I had a blast performing that back home. If I didn't have so much to do, I would go (and if I had a car . . .).

Wasn't today's "surprise" concert fun? ("surprise" for the performers, that is) :P

  2. To krazy kanuck:

What a great signature! And hey, you could easily hitch a ride with someone going down - several Westminster students are joining Fuma for the performance. Also, NYC...train...so easy!

(Of course, I also am not attending b/c I have so much to do...)
