We continue our survey of Beethoven’s chamber works with gems from Beethoven’s innovative ‘Middle Period,’ including rarely performed Lieder, the “Ghost” Trio andhis only string quintet. Each program will feature Boston premieres and other works from Season Composer John Harbison’s vast and varied oeuvre, including his String Quartet No. 5 and Gatsby Songs.
