Chorus pro Musica, Betsy Burleigh, Music Director and conductor, presents Joseph Haydn's oratorio The Creation on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 8 pm at NEC's Jordan Hall, 30 Gainsborough Street, Boston. Soloists are Mary Wilson, soprano; Zachary Wilder, tenor; and Paul Guttry, baritone. Performed with the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra.
This performance adds an exciting new visual dimension to Haydn’s remarkable work—sophisticated light imagery, created by young British video designer Joss Sessions, that is projected onto the walls of Jordan Hall behind and around the chorus, supplementing and enhancing the concert experience. The work will be sung in English.
Tickets: $17, $27, $42, $87. Discounts are available for seniors, students, WGBH members, and groups of 6 or more. Ticket prices include a $2 Jordan Hall preservation fee. For information call 617-267-7442.
