Sweet Home Alabama

One possible definition of globalization (or crossover? or collaboration?) could be a Finnish rock and roll band called the Leningrad Cowboys joining forces with the Soviet Red Army Choir to perform Sweet Home Alabama. Hypothetically, of course.

I have never seen a choir where everyone had head mics before.

Responsibility for sending me this link lies with my brother.

  1. If you belong to netflix, rent the movie about the Leningrad Cowboys! We watched it a good while ago -- we had rented it thinking it was something else -- and it was unbelievably awesome. It's basically just a concert film, in Helsinki, featuring the full Red Army orchestra/chorale. And the Leningrad Cowboys in full Elvis-haired curly-toed regalia. It was fantastic.
