Bush's thoughts on atheists

Is anyone shocked?

"No, I don't know that atheists should be considered as citizens, nor should they be considered patriots. This is one nation under God." - George H. W. Bush (father of the current monarch)

Good thing I'm just trying to change my graduation program next year, and not get elected.

Just a little comment, this is George H. W. Bush (not GWB, current president.)

Not that I don't find this reprehensible, but it's probably important to reference it correctly.

  2. Aha - you are correct! Thanks for the correction - I missed that detail (if something as significant as the source of a quote can be called a detail.)

  3. It is always disconcerning for me learn how fellow humans, working in our government, can be so mean. It is like reading a 7 year olds boys response to another kid he doesn't like in his class. I wonder if we will ever ask our government to grow up.
